Does BoA Business have a future?

Regrettably, no candidates came forward prior to the deadline for election as Chair, Vice-Chair or Treasurer/Secretary. So for the time being, the following measures are being put in place:

(1) Any financial or legal issues requiring action will continue to be handled by departing Treasurer/Secretary Mike Greig. Mike and Lucy Millar as outgoing Chair will remain as the joint signatories for the BoA Business bank account for the time being.

(2) As soon as public gatherings are permitted indoors (maybe September?), a public meeting will be called to discuss the way forward for BoA Business, in the hope that new officers can be found to help support Bradford on Avon businesses as they rebuild in the months ahead.

(3) The outgoing Chair will also deal with any other questions, concerns etc that arise in the meantime. We will also keep in touch through this mailing list with any important news or updates.

In the past few years, BoA Business has built a solid base of support for a range of networking events, the Business of the Year Awards and other initiatives. If you have thoughts and ideas how we can move forward so that, through BoA Business, we can all play a part in saving the economy of the town in the months ahead, please make your voice heard. You can leave a comment here, use the BoA Business Facebook pages or Twitter. BoA Business is a community of some 500 individuals and businesses. Can we work together to secure the future of this vital group?
