“ShopLocal” card launched

BoA Business and the Town Council have teamed up to develop a new ShopLocal card to help encourage people to shop in Bradford on Avon. Any business in the town is invited to join the programme:

  • It is free to join for both businesses and cardholders.
  • Cards will be sent to all residents in BoA via the Council.
  • Cards will also be available to anyone else – other shoppers, businesses and those working in Bradford on Avon.
  • Participating businesses will be offered a window decal by the Town Council to display the fact that you are taking part and you will be given ShopLocal cards to hand out to customers.
  • All you need to do is provide a benefit to ShopLocal cardholders. This could be a discount, value add or other benefit to shopping with you. Or it can be an offer you already have going.
  • You only need to have an offer running when it suits you.
  • There will be a dedicated webpage on the Explore BOA website listing all the offers.

If you’re a Bradford on Avon business, would you like to join? For full information about the scheme, go to this page on the Town Council website. Complete the form to provide your listing and add your offer – and you’re in! If you’d like more information, get in touch with James Sullivan-Tailyour at The Swan (call 01225 868686).

Full details of those involved and offers for customers will be found on the BoA Explore website here. The ShopLocal cards will be available to residents in the very near future, so please keep an eye out for further announcements on the Town Council website (link above), as well as on social media feeds and the Town Council newsletter.
